The first weekend in March, we went to Omaha for a retirement event for Tom. The kids went along and we enjoyed the zoo one morning.
It was soooo beautiful out on a fall Friday that we allllll went for a run!
Our friends and neighbors, the Hultines were out so we stopped by and gathered eggs....
and watched them halter break a calf! Kingzlee has always loved "Hultine, Marc"
It was a crazy day, snow on the ground yet 70 degrees! Not many times you can get a photo in snow with shorts and flip flops without freezing!
Avocados for a snack, so healthy but sooo messy!
That weekend, Kingzlee, Justin and I went to Beaver Creek to meet our friend Marcia so Kingzlee could ski again this year. Still no skiing for me due to my knee but Justin enjoyed boarding. She outgrew her old ski suit (it was pushing it in January) so here she is modeling a new one we picked out.
Hard to see but in front of Herb Mignery's "Checkmate" bronze
First day of ski school. She was not happy at all. I think she was used to going with friends like in Steamboat and there were many more kids and they shuffled them between instructors. I am not sure how much skiing she actually did.
We were able to catch an ice skating show!
The next two days, she skied with Justin and did great!!!! She went up and down blues with no problem. I am so sad I missed out this year.
Marcia and I hung out at the base and watched her go up and down with Daddy numerous times!
Vail bridge...we have one similar to this when she was 2 on our way to Vegas to make the babies!!!
Loving on her brother and sister when we returned home from BC!
The babies love the dogs!
Dying Easter eggs. I was not feeling well that week so Grandma Shar came to the rescue and helped and got in on the fun!
I decided enough of the Bozo mullet, I googled "how to cut boys hair" and went at it! He looks scared!
The finished product!
We went to Gothenburg on Saturday of Easter weekend. Kingzlee and Mya are all ready for the town Easter egg hunt!
Kruzann kept calling the bunny a DOG, then screamed when she sat on his lap!
Even Grandma is in the pic!
Walking home from Aunt Marci's, you can just see the top of Kingzlee's head pushing the stroller.
Aunt Marci did all kinds of fun things with Kingzlee like making 'bunny bait'....
And putting on an Easter egg hunt!
Easter Day at Grandma Shars
Finally!!! After all of these years, I found the $100 Easter Egg!!!!
Egg hunt at our house
Kruzann helped her sister find eggs
Everyone looking in their eggs
A boy and his dog
The beautiful Easter day ended with a beautiful full rainbow!!!! Another reminder that the day is about the Lord, not eggs!
