Day Two

The big sister helping with Kruzann's bath

We enjoyed several visitors

darn iphone playing games with me again!

Liz brought Kingz some juicy pjs

Justin brought me some Dom- we brought our own glasses this time so we didn't have to drink it out of Styrofoam like last time!

Kingz is obsessed with doctors and had to bring her doctor kit and wear her doctor coat to the hospital and help the nurses examine the babies every night!

Stuhrling Jett & Kruzann Ruby

Here I am at 37 weeks right before the babies were delivered. We had planned on a c section the following week but I became pre eclamptic so they decided to take them on Saturday, November 19th. I was ready!!!! Huge and completely miserable, I can say a twin pregnancy is a whole different story than a singleton! We were to arrive at the hospital at 7 am but my water broke at 3 am-so I guess they were ready! Sturhling Jett was born at 5:20 am and was 5 lbs 14 oz, 18 1/2" long and Kruzann Ruby was born at 5:21 am and was 5 lbs 4 oz and 18 1/4" long. They were both healthy and didn't need any extra intervention. It was a different story for me-my blood pressure was sky high when I went into the OR then it dropped which made me terribly ill throughout the procedure and the entire day. The whole day is a blur to me as I was dizzy and sick most of the day. It was all worth it though since they are here safely!

First photo with Stuhrling, the smile on my face is forced and fake!

First family photo with both babies-I feel as awful as I look!

Kruzann's first bath

No one else knew what we were having, including Kingzlee. She kept telling everyone that we will take whatever God gives us! She was excited to have one of each!!!!

My Babies-still amazed I carried these two and that we almost made it to term. At this point, I still feel as bad as I look! It took several days for the swelling to go down-I had to leave the hospital in the same flip flops that I arrived in because my feet where still huge!
