July

July started out a little rough as we had to put our 10 year old buckskin, Sarge, down after rushing him to Kansas State for colic surgery. The kids and I went to the lake while Justin took Sarge to Kansas State.

Kingzlee loves the neighbors swing!

Playing on the deck with Daddy back at home

Giving the rest of the horses love! What a great swimming pool on a hot day!

On the Fourth of July, we went to to our friends house and Kingzlee and Bestsy had calf fries for the first time!

Concho is such a good and patient dog!

We took our mare back up to Pitzers to be bred and stopped at the sale barn for lunch. The kids loved watching the sale!

Beau giving Kingzlee and Betsy a ride

Stuhrling army crawling to his sister!

They look like two hillbilly kids hanging out outside!

These were the days-before the babies could really get anywhere very fast!

The first boat ride for the babies! We didn't spent much time at the lake until August as Grandma Shar was adding on to the cabin and it wasn't finished until the first of August.

The babies look scared!

Kruzzy and Grandpa Jack!

Kingzlee's friend Cale and his parents came to visit. Here they are riding the Jake steer in their pjs and boots!

Justin had a 'meeting' (on a golf course) in Omaha so Betsy and I took the kids to the zoo-it was HOT outside!

Rub a dub-dub

The end of July, we went to Wyoming. First we were in the Buffalo/Sheridan area where we watched some polo....

A nice player let us go to the barn and see his horses. A little different than the horses in our pasture!

Stomping divots

Kingzlee was more interested in leading a nice gentleman's dog than watching polo!

After we left Buffalo, we went to Cody then Jackson Hole. It was soooo refreshing-the babies actually needed blankets and jackets!

They had tipi on the hotel property, Kingzlee loved it!

Annual photo by the antlers in town square

Fishing with Daddy

Kruzzy passed out at dinner...

Stuhrling too!

Meanwhile, big sister is rocking the chopsticks!

Such beautiful scenery!

A couple in the neighboring cabin had twin boys a few months older than our twins. so they all played in the grass one evening!

Kingzlee and I went down the alpine slide while Daddy was golfing

The view at the top of the alpine slide!

Weeeeee

Outside our cabin with a rainbow in the background! What a fun family trip!
