On Friday, Kingzlee and I visited several high school friends while in Gothenburg. After Kingzlee blew out the outfit she was wearing, I changed her into the back up I had in her diaper bag. Come to find out, Ava had the same outfit so we took the opportunity to photograph them together! How cute are they? We are sure they will get in plenty of trouble together at Johnson Lake in the summers!!!

A word about this time of year.....

Justin and I are very excited to celebrate our first Christmas with Kingzlee. This year, we are very aware of the many blessings that the Lord has bestowed upon us. It was one year ago today that we received the call from the doctor telling us that we were pregnant! As we reflect on the past year we are so thankful for all that the Lord has given us, especially our beautiful daughter. Have a Merry Christmas and during all of the busy times and stress that seems to come with the season, please remember that is is not about the presents, but about HIS presence. Next time you are running frantic, stop-take a deep breath-and enjoy the many blessings and all of the love that surrounds you and take time to reflect on the true meaning of the season. Merry Christmas!!!!

Christmas Season!

On Sunday, we went to Lochland for brunch and to see Santa. Kingzlee has had some stranger anxiety but didn't mind sitting on Santa's lap!!!
Sunday was also Justin's birthday, so he sat on Santa's lap as well!

With Grandpa Jack
After brunch on Sunday, we paid a visit to Hal and Gretchen Lainson. Kingzlee just started to really giggle on Saturday and laughed at Gretchen when she would speak to Kingzlee-it was very cute!

Justin, Kingzlee and the dogs on a lazy Saturday morning. You can see how each of them feel about Kingzlee in this photo, Cinch is not impressed while Concho would really like to lick her!!!
Kingzlee in her Christmas pj's. Kingzlee and her Daddy hung out together on Saturday while I baked Christmas cookies with my friends (how domesticated of me, huh?)

Kingzlee in her bebe pod in the shirt that Aunt Marci bought her-believe me, she does get a lot of 'hugging, holding, and kissing'!!!
Kingzlee by our Christmas tree
We had a very cold week and our first real snow!! It was too cold to take Kingzlee outside to photograph her in the snow, so we did the next best thing!
When Kingzlee and I go to lunch with a friend, this is what usually happens.....she falls asleep with my finger in her mouth-a source of comfort I suppose??
Kingzlee with Amanda at lunch on Tuesday
Our favorite thing to do, lounge in the buff!!
