Halloween, Football, and Friends!

We are getting back into our schedule of play dates-here are the kids taking turns going down the slide!

Big News!!!! She decided last week to start going to the bathroom on her little toilet!!! She is doing so well, we are shocked how quickly she has picked everything up. She even goes on big toilets when we are away from home (football game, church, YMCA, etc). Her prize when she fills her board with stars is ice cream with Daddy-here she is enjoying her prize!!!!

We took a day to do some shopping at Cherry creek-she is a good little shopper!

We had a little shopping trip to Broken Bow with the Ochsners. Whenever Kingzlee is with Jenna and Jaden, she is in heaven! They are so good to her!

We went to Lincoln for the Nebraska vs Texas game. It was Grandma Shar's birthday so she helped Grandma open her gifts! Regardless of the game, it was fun to be with Aunt Marci, Aunt Kristi, Uncle Bruce, and Grandma Shar for the weekend!

The last weekend in September, we went to Omaha for the River City Roundup, they had great interactive exhibits for kids.....

Andrea and Troy joined us for the rodeo. Though Kingzlee stayed at the room with a babysitter, they were still able to say HI before the rodeo.

We went to Seattle for the Nebraska vs Washington football game. We were able to go up to Whidbey Island to see our friend, glass artist, Callahan. Here we are in the back of his studio at a 'beer tasting room'. She was playing with a snail puppet we bought her on the island.

Callahan (with the husker pom pom) and me in front of Callahans Firehouse. When we first walked in to see him, Kingzlee sneezed and had snot running down her nose, then she went potty through her diaper all over his floor! I am sure Callahan was thrilled to meet Kingzlee for the first time!

After the game, we cruised for a while on Lake Washington and Lake Union, you can see the space needle in the background.

Kingzlee slept most of the first half of the game, then was awake to enjoy the game. She was taking a photo of the photographer!

Our friends, Chuck and Diane Guildner, joined us for the game. Chuck is an amazing photographer, retired Dr, Sailor, and dear friend. He is originally from Hastings but he and Diane live in Everett, near Seattle, now. We were so excited that we were able to spend the day with them!

The boat ride to the game and all of the excitement prior to the game was just too much-she needed a little snooze!

The night before the game we ate at one of our favorite restaurants in Seattle. Towards the end of the night, there was an older couple that kept staring at us. Of course, I thought they wondered why we had a toddler out late, or at a nice restaurant....but, they came up to us and told us that they couldn't believe how well behaved she was the entire night! Made Mommy and Daddy very proud!

We arrived in Seattle around 10 pm which was midnight our time. She was a tired little girl-especially since she was much too excited to sleep on the flight!

Packing the day we left for Seattle. She wanted to make sure that all of her big girl undies were packed-even though she isn't really wearing big girl undies on a regular basis!
