The calm before the storm!

Here are a few posts of our November before the babies arrived. We finalized the nursery details. Here is Sally hanging the mirror she made for us with Dad's spurs and bits on it-she is amazing!

The Curtis family (or "Courtesy Kids" as Kingzlee calls them) brought us dinner one night. It was so kind of them to do so as I was miserable and could barely walk or stand at this point. My feet were swollen out of control-to the point where it was comical to show people and see the looks on their faces. Here is Kingzlee and Kori playing.

Kingzlee and her friend Lyla riding Bottega....

And Coco...

And Veneta. Now, the real question here is: How many asses are really in this photo??? :-)

Playing in the babies cribs.

Two days before the babies arrived, I waddled downtown with Kingzlee and Justin for the downtown lighting of the lights celebration. Here is Kingzlee adding her wishes to the Christmas list at A Perfect Gift!

The night before we were to go in to have the babies, we gave Kingzlee a couple little gifts....

And you can see how huge and miserable I was at that point! Gives me a stomach ache to think about it, I am so happy to be on this side and have two healthy babies!!!!

October 2011

Kingzlee went to her first birthday party where Mom dropped her off-she had a great time celebrating with Addyson!

At her three year check up she was such a brave little girl. She didn't cry when they pricked her finger and just let out one little whimper after her flu shot!

Rodeo/ballerina queen?

Kingzlee helped Daddy move the little horses to a different pasture-she does such a good job!

Our friends from NJ visited for an afternoon, she is not sure what to think of the breed of boys but they had a great time!!!! Not sure what she will do if we have two little brothers!

They had a great time being goof balls!

This is how she chose to dress for a HC football game

Grandma was here on the morning of her birthday. I was not doing well, laid out on the couch with a very painful pulled muscle across my ribs-these babies are taking it out of me!!!!

More Sarge time!

We enjoyed a Saturday afternoon at the pumpkin patch. She was scared of the slide at first then she loved it!

Sliding with her friend Lyla and her mom-we didn't think it would be good for me to go down the slide!

Kingzlee is in two dance classes. Parents are not allowed to watch except for special observation days once each semester. We really got a kick out of her, the attention span is pretty short!!!!

And all of the parents now know the reason we are not allowed to watch - the kids spent a lot of time looking at, waving at, talking to the parents!!!!

We enjoyed a very peaceful lunch after art class thanks to Steve Jobs!

Only my child wears juicy pants, YSL heels, and a shirt with a bucking bull on it!!!!!

We had a big Halloween weekend! Saturday night we had a hayrack ride with Hultines and Sunday we had the Lochland kids Halloween party. By Monday, we were over it but ran into town quick to stop at her Grandparents house. Three costumes in three days! Here she is as a cowgirl Saturday night with her friend Lyla.

Lochland Halloween party and hayrack ride

The princess immediately lost a piece off of her shoe and was down to just the dress by the time we were finished!!!

All ready for the Lochland party and already grumpy!

Hanging out at Halsteds after the party, extremely grumpy by this time!!!!

And the last costume for this season (thank goodness)-a ballerina to go into town and see Grandma Pam and Grandpa Jack

September 2011

September started out with our nephew Travis getting married! Kingzlee was the flower girl-here she is at the rehearsal with Aunt Marci (mother of the groom!)

Kingzlee and the ring bear practicing their dance moves at the front of the church!

Kingzlee and Beckett

Kingzlee and the bride

Aunt Kristi and Uncle Bruce came home for the wedding-loves her Aunt Kristi!

Kingzlee had her hair done for the wedding. She sat so well and loved every minute of it!

Walking with Uncle Mark to the park for photos

Giving Beckett love

With the groom-her cousin Travis

Sneaking off to the playground at the park during photos

I was so proud of her! She was such a big and brave little girl going down the aisle and made sure that Beckett kept moving forward!

She stood pretty well during the ceremony as well-such a big girl!

Aunt Marci gave her a prize for being so good, a vet kit. It was perfect as they are two of her favorite things-dogs and shots!!!!

Tearing up the dance floor

She would have danced all night had we let her-she was a tired little girl by the time we left (which was only 9pm).

The day after the wedding, we caught the last performance of the rodeo-she did the stick horse grand entry again this year.

On labor day, we just relaxed and rode Sarge!

"Thank you for the ride, Sarge!"

Riding with an audience of little animals!

Daddy herding Kingz and Sage-the herding stick is quite a source of entertainment

Kingzlee is not going to preschool this fall as I don't want her to have 3 years of preschool. So we are in several activities including two dance classes, art class, and gymnastics. This was her first night of dance. Parents are not allowed to watch except for 'observation week' twice a semester.

She says she likes tap the best-I suppose because the shoes make noise!

We had to stop by Husker Harvest Days to take our annual photo. Kingzlee and I are a lot bigger than previous years!!!

Being a 'rodeo queen' - the stick horse is her flag!

Mommy went a little overboard with Missoni for Target goodies!

We went to the Washington vs Nebraska game-the only one Kingzlee and I will make it to this year

While Daddy went to Wyoming for the Husker game, we enjoyed the Hastings College homecoming parade

With her Mimi!

More fun outside with the herding stick!
