December

Kingzlee came along for Stuhrling and Kruzann's first doctor appointment. Stuhrling was back up to birth weight (5 lbs 14 oz) and Kruzann was past birth weight (5 lbs, 9 oz)

We were able to sneak to Lochland with just Kingzlee mid December for a gingerbread house brunch!

Then we picked out our Christmas tree!

This was a crazy day! First, it was hairy getting Kingzlee out the door to gymnastics in time, then the water was off due to a leak, then the bull got again-again (we are now enjoying him as hamburger), the little animals were at the front door, and once we had the tree decorated-it tipped over!

As the month went on, I started to pump more and nurse less. It didn't take us long to figure out how to feed them both at one time!

We did an advent project with Kingz where I bought her a silver Christmas tree and she had an ornament to open each day of advent. It was special time that the two of us could spend each day that didn't include the babies.
Tummy Time!

My cousin who had a baby the day before the twins were born came to visit. So, we had a photo opp with the babies and the older kids were able to play (below).

This was taken on our first opportunity to go out as a couple-he had to take the straight truck back to the office so, he loaded me and the breast pump in the straight truck and we were off to meet friends for dinner!!! So romantic!

Mignery's came to visit and brought Kingzlee this western apron. She likes the apron almost as much as she likes Chance!

Miss Betsy brought her Hello Kitty for Christmas!

The Hermes came for dinner one evening. Kingzlee loves sitting at the kids table.

Kruzann couldn't figure out why were was no milk coming from Daddy's nose!

The whole family went to the Santa brunch at Lochland.

Aunt Kristi came the week before Christmas-here she is meeting Stuhrling for the first time!

Becky and Jeanne again (not sure how this got out of order)

We went to Gothenburg on Christmas Eve. The babies traveled well and slept well at Grandma Shar's house

Our Christmas miracles!

Kingz had a great time opening gifts!

On Christmas Day, we went to Grandma and Grandpa Osborne's house.

Finally, we made it home on Christmas night to find Santa had visited while we were away. She was the most excited to see that he ate the cookie she left for him....

And then she wondered how he was able to get this kitchen in his sleigh!

What most of December looked like!

Our friends, the Butlers, were in town so came to visit. As usual, Kingz was a bit overbearing to her new friend, Sloan.

Bosselman's came to meet the babies. Fred was in Vegas when we had the frozen embryo transfer so he is pretty sure he had something to do with the conception! haha

Our friends from Germany sent the babies Steiff bears and Kingzlee gummy bears!

Almost every morning in December was full of a lot of snuggling in the bed!

Kingzlee and Lyla playing in the sleigh

Angela was back in town so she and her Mom came to meet the babies. It was so much fun to see her as well as the numerous other visitors we had this day. Eight straight hours of visitors made my heart full but Kingzlee was wound up and very naughty!

On New Years Eve, the entire family went to Lochland with the Curtis family.

Kingzlee and I toasting at 8 pm! :-)

After Lochland we went to our friends home for the birthday club party. We were home and in bed by midnight, but not for long as the babies were still waking to eat at night at this point! The good news was that most of the time, they would go right back to sleep after their feeding and when one woke, we would wake the other in order to keep them on the same schedule! A December to remember....or not, what a blur!!!!
