With the nice weather, we have been spending a lot of time in the garden. The other day we went out after it had rained overnight. She was splashing in the water puddles which lead to playing in the mud which lead to her falling in the mud! She was happy!!!

Watching out the window as Grandpa Jack and Daddy try to wrangle the longhorns. Later, we went out and helped.
Daddy made a new 'toy' for Kingzlee
We went to Hermes' house for dinner and some playtime one beautiful evening
She loved to play on the trampoline
Hermes' swing is on a much taller tree than ours (ours actually hangs from our deck) so it swings much higher, she loved it!
Giving Collin love!
The Ochsner girls came to play last week, Kingzlee loves them!
We have been talking a lot about sharing in our house. Whenever we have a play date she will say "friends, share, toys". Well, she has taken it to a new level and now shares her snacks with the dogs.......

Sometimes it gets a little dangerous!
On Easter evening, we went to Justin's Grandparents for pizza. Pam and Jack were there and here is Kingzlee giving Grandpa Jack his 70th birthday gift
We had a little Easter egg hunt in our yard once we returned home from Gothenburg and before we spent time with Justin's family. It was a beautiful day!!! Here she is marching away with some of her loot!
She loved 'hunting' Easter eggs more than I thought she would. I put things like bubbles, stickers, goldfish, and money in them and she opened each one up then would run to the next egg. This one is almost as big as Kingzlee!
Checking out the eggs
After church and lunch in Gothenburg, we had the annual $100 Easter egg hunt in Mom's yard. This is a tradition Grandpa Ferris started over 50 years ago, Dad continued it for our family once Grandpa was gone and now Mom hides the eggs. Many times, no one would find the $100 egg with Grandpa and Dad hid it pretty well also. Well, Mom doesn't quite do so well and as my brother in law Mark said-it is pretty obvious when she starts snapping photos that you are close to finding it! Marci was the lucky winner this year! Kingzlee had fun just chasing eggs Grandma had thrown in the yard for her.

Family photo for Easter-someone has a naughty look on her face!
Kingz and the dogs watching out the window for Daddy to come home!
As I was packing her bag for the trip to Gothenburg for Easter, she decided to put all of her hair accessories on at one time!
Reddings visited for dinner the Friday night before Easter-here is Cole giving Kingzlee a kiss!
Hugs!
She wore Olivia's hoodie all night, we weren't sure Olivia was going to get it back!
This photo makes me laugh-she didn't want to be left out of the photo!
During another play date, Olivia was putting lip gloss on Kingz-she loved it can kept saying "more please" (her favorite term-I hear it hundreds of times a day)
'Counting' the Easter eggs after we did a quick dye job. She actually has been counting!!! Some days are better than others but she usually does 1 through 5 pretty well though lately 2, 4, 8, 9, 10 has been her favorite!
We had to sample a hard boiled egg-which ended up all over and in her hair
We had to change clothes after eating the egg-so Kingzlee and June took the opportunity to do some dancing. EVERYONE in the house loves June days-the dogs get extra love and treats, Kingz follows June around and June plays with her all day, and I get a clean house!
Cousin Travis stopped to visit one Sunday evening a couple weeks ago to show us photos from his trip to South Africa. He arrived just in time as we had just discovered a sick newborn calf. Lucky Travis got in on the fun and was even fortunate enough to have Justin boss him around as the cow was jumping the fence and the horses got out! Kingzlee even learned a new word from Daddy during that time-one we hope she doesn't repeat!
She loves her cousin Travis (it is now Ta-tis)
So the calf had hypothermia so Justin gave him a warm bath (not sure that is what they do on Deadliest Catch when someone falls in the water-but oh well), dried him off and we put him in the dog crate with blankets and a heater.......in the garage. Kingzlee kept telling him -night, night-we had a feeling he was going 'night-night' for good!
